Dear Friend of Ukraine,
Our hearts are deeply saddened for our sisters and brothers and their children in Ukraine.
We know that so many are torn and yearning for peaceful return to some semblance of normalcy.
We can hardly imagine what they are going through.
We do understand that there is great loss, so we have created a unique project utilizing the power of rhythm to assist on some level. Recognizing that there are numerous initiatives underway to assist in the region, this extraordinary project engages our rhythm population’s passion and talent to deliver real-world assistance in real time. Now and for the future.
What: ‘Drum•A•Thon’ for UKRAINE
When: Rescheduled (from May 22) .. to be determined soon (probably late October 2023). Celebrity drummers will participate in this amazing ‘Drum•A•Thon’ showing the world united efforts exemplifying the power of pulse, raising funds and gettin’ their YaYas out!
Where: Event will be broadcast from HITKOR Studios in California free on drumathonforukraine.org and moderndrummer.com
How: We will Live Stream non-stop performances along with the submitted videos from players globally and will be joined virtually by Ukrainian artists, citizens, and the global rhythm community to open eyes and hearts to assist with the needs in this war-torn environment.

Intention: We will raise at least $250K from this project with 100% of proceeds distributed to specific vetted initiatives in Ukraine :: hospitals, pediatric clinics, refugee and humanitarian efforts.
The Donations: DrumsForCures :: DRUMSTRONG.org is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization that facilitates interactive rhythm events globally. Through DRUMSTRONG Ukraine, personal connections have been made with good people in Ukraine. They are helping direct funds for immediate needs. The Artists and creators are donating their time and talent for this effort.
