................................................................................................ AND HERE'S A COOL CONCEPT :: Providenc Day School Varsity Lacrosse is doing something valiantly unique to help in the fight against cancer. Most of us have been touched by cancer. Last year we lost our beloved Kristina Brockmeier and PDS Lacrosse has formed Team DocBrock to raise awareness and funds to help support local cancer initiatives through Drums For Cures. Each PDS Ground Ball, Save & Goal will be sponsored by the Team's Families (and/or Business). At the end of each game the total is announced; at the end of the season, the grand total will be publicized and donated to the local cancer initiative of Team DocBrock's choice. Can you say "win/win"?! |
